Turn a Discord clip into a GIF.

Open a video message's Apps menu and choose Image / Video to GIF. User App uses the Free compact default and a private preview; Server Install keeps the existing preset setup. Source videos up to 30s are accepted within file-size limits.

1. Video message

Pick an mp4, mov, or webm attachment already posted in Discord.

2. Apps menu

Use the Apps menu on the video message, not the general Apps button. Choose Image / Video to GIF from the message's Apps menu.

3. GIF reply

Review the private GIF, then press Post. Free compact is 256x144 / 2s; server-installed Pro flows also offer 5s and 480x270 HD options. No audio.

How to make a GIF in Discord

Choose User App for message actions, or Server Install for slash commands and server features.

1. Choose how to install

Install Fragmingo as a User App for Text to GIF and Image / Video to GIF from message Apps menus, or add it to a server for slash commands and server features.

2. Start in Discord

For Server Install, start with /fragmingo text:helloFor User App, open a message's Apps menu and choose Text to GIF or Image / Video to GIF. FragClip uses the first 2 seconds of the video.

3. Preview, then post

User App message actions use the default preset, show a private GIF preview, and publish only after you press Post. Server-installed flows keep their existing setup and server features.

Anti-spam limits

Fragmingo is a reaction GIF bot for normal Discord conversations. It is not for mass posting, raids, or automated request traffic.

Daily caps

Free users can create 10 text GIFs per day. Pro raises daily limits, but still keeps usage bounded.

No queue flooding

Each user can have up to 2 text GIF jobs and 1 video GIF job pending at once. The whole renderer also stops accepting jobs when the queue is busy.

Responsible use

Automating requests, bypassing limits, or using the bot to disrupt a server is not allowed.
