Using Fragmingo in Discord

1. Choose how to install

Add Fragmingo to a server for your community, or install it as a User App for yourself. Both support message Apps actions.

2. Start in Discord

For Server Install, start with /fragmingo text:hello For User App, open a message's Apps menu and choose Text to GIF or Image / Video to GIF. FragClip uses the first 2 seconds of the video.

3. Preview, then post

When installed for personal use, message actions create a private GIF preview. Press Post to publish it. When added to a server, video GIFs let you choose a caption, start point, and style before previewing.

Permissions and usage limits

No admin permission / Slash commands + Apps menu / No auto-reply

Each user can have up to 2 text GIF jobs and 1 video GIF job pending at once. The whole renderer also stops accepting jobs when the queue is busy.

Automating requests, bypassing limits, or using the bot to disrupt a server is not allowed.
